Algorithm and hardware

Zano combines proof of work and proof of stake. This pool provides ProgPowZ PoW mining, not staking. Network PoS blocks are not blocks found by your GPUs or rewards owed by the pool to PoW miners.

Configure the specific ProgPowZ algorithm. Some miners call it progpow_zano or progpowz; our generated launcher uses the selected miner option. Do not substitute KAWPOW or a generic ProgPoW name without checking the documentation.

Use a Zano address suitable for mining payments. For an exchange, verify its deposit format and any additional required data directly; a worker name does not replace a deposit identifier. Keep keys and recovery words outside the form.

Wallet and safety

The form only needs your public receiving address. Never enter recovery words, private keys or passwords. Obtain the wallet from official project sources. Keep a secure wallet backup when changing devices; your pool balance is not a wallet backup.

PPLNS or SOLO

PPLNS distributes a valid pool reward according to accepted work within the published payout window. In SOLO the valid block finder earns its associated reward under the pool terms. Accepted shares represent work, not guaranteed blocks or fixed income.

The pool fee is 1% in both modes. Any software developer fee is separate. Effort above 100% can occur through statistical variance; it does not guarantee the next block.

Connection step by step

PPLNSzano-pool.aethelblock.com:3066
SOLOzano-solo.aethelblock.com:3067
  1. Select your system, GPU, miner, wallet and mining mode in the form.
  2. Download the miner using the official release link in the download step.
  3. Download INICIAR.bat or INICIAR.sh separately and place it beside the executable in the exact folder shown for that miner.
  4. Run outside the archive. On Linux check executable permissions or run the launcher with Bash.
  5. Check incoming jobs and accepted shares, then look up the same wallet and mining mode in My miner.

Payouts, maturity and available balance

The published minimum is 0.3 ZANO. Automatic payment checks run hourly for mature available balances meeting the minimum. Smaller balances carry forward. A block must be valid and satisfy its maturity rules before funding a payment.

Gross network rewards, credited miner balances and received wallet amounts can differ through allocation, pool fees and applicable network costs. Check current Payouts terms rather than importing another coin fee treatment. A sent transaction still requires network confirmation.

Rejections, performance and checks

Record the exact rejection message and check algorithm, release, address and endpoint. Old jobs, duplicate shares and disconnections need different checks. Start with stable settings before changing clocks or power.

Pool hashrate is estimated from work received over a time window and can differ from the miner instantaneous reading. Compare similar periods. Calculator performance and prices are estimates; include actual electricity use when evaluating costs.
